"Joe Biden's ambassador to Hungary, David Pressman, is a particularly repulsive American politician in Hungary following the regime change," said Daniel McAdams in an opinion piece in the columns of Ron Paul Institute

According to the author, the United States, like the former Soviet Union, wants an obedient Hungary, not an independent and democratic country.

As Daniel McAdams put it: " the US State Department repeatedly interfered in the Hungarian elections, unsuccessfully trying to undermine and overthrow the popular Fidesz government. Washington regularly intervened in the media market in Hungary, supporting almost all anti-Fidesz media".

"It's fine when we do it, but even the hoax concocted by the Hillary campaign that Russia was trying to influence the US election sent the US establishment into a six-year paroxysm of panic over 'reds under our beds'" - underlined the author.

McAdams also pointed out in connection with the relationship between our country and Ukraine: in his opinion, Pressman has no idea that hundreds of thousands of people of Hungarian nationality were forced outside the borders of Hungary without their consent in the diktat following the First World War, and that these Hungarians were aggressively persecuted by the Zelensky regime.

According to the author, Hungary does not even need to militarily support a country that "wants to cleanse its country" .

According to McAdams, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó finally fought back. Hardly at that. Responding to Pressman's intervention in Hungarian internal affairs, he issued a statement: "It doesn't matter what he or any other ambassador thinks about the domestic political developments in Hungary, because they have nothing to do with it. That's why we ask for more respect for the Hungarians."
