Replace MEP Delbos-Corfield immediately!

Delbos-Corfield crossed a red line when he premeditatedly claimed that Hungary was leaking intelligence information to a country outside the EU, namely Russia. Gergely Karácsony and Benedek Jávor, the head of the capital's representation in Brussels, were also sitting in the room and listened silently when the statement of the French Green Party representative was made.  

The representatives of the European Parliament of Fidesz are initiating the immediate replacement of Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield, Tamás Deutsch, the representative of the European Parliament of Fidesz, announced on Hír TV. As he said

the French Green Party EP representative made an unprecedented scandalous statement at a conference on the rule of law held in Brussels, thus becoming unfit and unworthy of his duties. He added that they will write to the President of the European Parliament on Thursday morning about his removal.

According to the Hungarian representative, Delbos-Corfield crossed a red line when he premeditatedly claimed that Hungary was leaking intelligence information to a country outside the EU, namely Russia. He emphasized

At a conference organized with public money, the French representative spoke nonsense about how Hungary can be harmed through lies, slander, insults, and smears. In addition, this whole conference was organized by the Budapest municipality, devoting a lot of money and energy to this, even though they constantly complain that they are about to go bankrupt

he declared. He put it this way, it was such an exaggeration that even the French representative had to admit: "he overdid the bike", and for this he must take political responsibility. "Those who support his stay are in favor of a state of collective institutional irresponsibility," he said.

According to the Fidesz representative, if Delbos-Corfield does not admit that he lied, Karácsony would echo this unprecedentedly scandalous statement.
