This year, the Rákóczi Association is again announcing its March 15 student travel program for high school students from the Carpathian Basin.

In the association's announcement, the aim of the program since 1994 is for Hungarian high school students living in the countries of the Carpathian Basin to commemorate the revolution and freedom struggle of 1848-49 together, and in connection with this, to create as many personal connections as possible between Hungarian students, teachers and schools .

Any Hungarian secondary school in the Carpathian Basin can apply for the competition announced by the Rákóczi Association. The competition creates an opportunity for the traveling high school group to cross at least one border in the Carpathian Basin and organize a joint program with another school related to the national holiday.

HUF 300,000 can be won in the travel competition, depending on the number of travelers and the distance traveled.
