Miklós Soltész emphasized: the government has made decisions in recent years that were of decisive importance from the point of view of society and church communities. Among them, perhaps the three most important goals were the support and strengthening of families, the settlement and development of relations with the churches, the restoration of the relationship between Hungarians across the border and the motherland, and the support of Hungarians living abroad.
The handing over ceremony of the kindergarten in Karcag proves that many of these goals have been achieved - stated the state secretary, recalling that the cabinet provided significant support for the implementation of the Catholic kindergarten program and also considered, and considers similar developments for the Reformed and Lutheran, as well as the construction of kindergartens across the border to be important. , renovations.
Thanks to this, hundreds of kindergartens have been built or are being built throughout the Carpathian Basin, and more than 1,300 kindergartens will be renovated and expanded during this period, he said. These investments, decisions and subsidies served well to achieve the mentioned triple goal, he underlined. "All of this is a huge commitment, the meaning and fruit of which can be seen today, and which will strengthen and serve society in the coming decades," he said.
At the same time, he noted: the intention, the initiative, in this case also required those partners - churches, teachers, professionals - who created buildings from the resources, and in the buildings, spirituality, values, and content, i.e. filled them with soul.
He recalled: As a result of this kind of cooperation, the Catholic school in Karcago was previously opened, schools, churches and the synagogue were renewed, and this is how the newly handed over, built with more than HUF 900 million in government support, was able to start a modern, new home in a facility capable of accommodating 80 children in four group rooms. found Catholic kindergarten.
