The Erasmus+ and Horizont Europe programs will continue - Deputy Regional Development Minister Csaba Latorcai pointed out in his parliamentary speech on Tuesday. The parliamentary state secretary also said that in order to resolve the conflict of interest, ministers, state secretaries, ministerial and government commissioners also resigned from their membership in university boards of trustees - unlike the left.
In his speech, Csaba Latorcai emphasized that, if necessary, the Hungarian budget will also be in place to ensure that Hungarian students can continue to travel abroad to continue their studies, and that Hungarian universities can continue to participate in international research collaborations.
Therefore, Hungarian students and Hungarian researchers cannot be disadvantaged in any way!
- highlighted the parliamentary state secretary. Regarding the resignations from university boards of trustees, he said that although the left constantly demands that incumbent politicians should not be allowed to sit on the board of trustees of foundation-managed universities, Pál Veres, the mayor of the DK of Miskolc, is currently a member of the board of trustees of the University of Miskolc.
