A Czech company is selling a replica of one of the world's most powerful artillery weapons, the HIMARS missile system, which can be inflated in minutes. According to unofficial data, dozens of dummy missile systems and dummy tanks are brought to the front every month, which can be read on the hirado.hu portal.
You can even assemble one of the Czech company's best-selling products by yourself. The packaging hides an object that resembles a deflated mattress, but when inflated, it paints a completely different picture. This is a fake HIMARS missile system, a full-scale, inflatable replica of one of the most advanced American artillery weapon systems, which even fools the scouts of modern armies.
All it takes is a compressor, and the portable dummy rocket system is ready in no time. It has a license plate and lights, and you can even move the container of the rocket launcher. The real HIMARS ballistic missile system is worth millions of dollars, its inflatable replica costs a fraction of that. Although the enemy cannot be destroyed with this rubber weapon, it can be fooled and forced into unnecessary team movements and actions to waste expensive real rockets to destroy the balloon weapons.
The director of the company did not officially admit that such balloon-missile systems are being sent to Ukraine, but he revealed that: in 2022, their revenues increased by a third, the demand for their products has increased since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, and orders are coming from all over the world.
Civilians. Info:
As a civilian, I consider this solution a kind of clever child's play, especially with today's military science. Maybe II. in World War II this was a proven tactical move, but nowadays? Who seriously thinks that it is possible to deceive the enemy with this, to force unnecessary team movements and actions, and to waste expensive, real missiles to destroy balloon tanks. A rifle bullet is enough for this, but firing a well-aimed arrow is even cheaper.
In vain, business is business, which only makes the war more expensive, which - as we know - has two big problems, it costs a lot and it backfires. By the way, if they wanted to deceive me as an enemy like this, I'm sure I would release a hundred smiley balloons.
How much cheaper and free of human deaths it would be if there were only such balloon wars.
