In February, the Déryné Program launched a theater series for high school students, KultUp "You get into culture!" The mission of the event series is to bring the theater experience to all 19 counties, specifically for the 14-18 age group.

In the announcement of the institution, it is highlighted that

for the first time, 50 secondary schools will organize an art experience, community-building and skill-building sessions. The goal is to reach more than 15,000 students in the first semester, in cooperation with 50 creators and organizations, by implementing nearly 1,800 program elements during 50 themed days.

The dreamer of the program is Márk Kis Domonkos, the director and leader of the Déryné Program is Gábor Héjja, who is responsible for the implementation and effectiveness of the program, the announcement states.

They emphasize

the program's mission is to guide students towards quality content consumption through cultural experiences and educational tools of experiential and drama pedagogy, and to contribute to the development of strong values, lasting interests and a motivated vision of the future.

The program deals with literary characters and stories that are important from the point of view of social involvement, the aim of which is to gain experience, as well as to associate a positive image in relation to theater, art and the characters and works presented. In the announcement, it is emphasized that each institution visited receives a unique educational structure, each element of the diverse selection pays special attention to the National Core Curriculum and the peculiarities of the school scene.

They emphasize that

based on the feedback of the target group and the teachers, the program is continuously adjusted.

Comprehensive measurements are carried out in the participating schools, as well as an effectiveness test, which, in addition to satisfaction, also asks about culture and media consumption habits, they add.

As part of the program, a national talent search will also be launched, the all-arts competition will take place in five categories (orchestral, vocal, movement, prose, and drama). Entries are made online, the best ten productions in each category are selected and invited to the KultCamp finals in July, in addition, viewers can choose the "audience favorite" in an online vote.

The complex skill development sessions are developed in the KultUp workshop with the cooperation of civil organizations and partner institutions. The partners include the National Theater in Győr, the Csiky Gergely Theater in Kaposvár, the Zenthe Ferenc Theater in Salgótarján, the National Memorial Committee, the Theater and Film Academy, the Rákóczi Association, the Epika Társulat, and Ludwig Trupp. The central element of the nationwide program, specifically aimed at the 14-18-year-old age group, is experiential pedagogy, the dissemination of culture, the formation of attitudes towards career choices, the creation of community and talent management, the announcement states.

As the end of the first semester of KultUp

at the peak of the program series, KultCamp welcomes 450 students as the venue for the Déryné Festival, between July 19 and 23 in Sátoraljaújhely, in the Rákóczi Camp.
