The Hungarian Football Association (MLSZ) has allowed the introduction of molinos depicting the historical map of Hungary to the matches of the national team.

According to the Tuesday report of the MLSZ website, it requested a clear position from the European Union (UEFA) and its anti-discrimination group (FARE).

"Accepting the arguments of the MLSZ, the two organizations acknowledged that the colors of the historical map of Hungary and the Árpád strip alone do not constitute racist behavior, but this does not apply to the additional symbols and inscriptions placed on the drapery, as well as to the chants of the fans," read the statement.

The MLSZ provided the information that the two organizations continue to fight against exclusion, including racism, and will therefore continue to punish banners carrying such a message, but at the same time, it considers it a significant step forward that only the map of historical Hungary and the Hungarian national a molino containing colors does not constitute a disciplinary offense in itself.

"As a result of the negotiations, the association will allow the drapery, which symbolizes respect for historical Hungary and solidarity with fans across the border, to be brought into the stadium"

- is included in the resolution, which revealed that four conditions must be met: it can only depict the map of historical Hungary, no other symbols or inscriptions, only red, white and green colors can be on it, the content of the molino must be presented - in the usual way, as well as due to the control of fire suppression, and the molino in the stadium cannot restrict the fans from watching the match undisturbed.

"If a racist or political message is placed on the drapery permitted in accordance with the above in any way, or any racist or political message is attached to the drapery, it will result in disciplinary proceedings, and with this our fans will harm themselves, their fellow fans, the team and the judgment of Hungarian football they harm", stated the MLSZ.

Jenő Sipos, the spokesperson of MLSZ, reported to MTI that "there is huge interest in the next matches of the national team, as more than 40,000 tickets have already been sold for the friendly match against the Estonians on Thursday, while the match against the Bulgarians on Monday More than 50,000 people exchanged tickets for the European qualifiers".

"It is still possible to buy tickets for the two matches on the mecchjegy.mlsz.hu website. The gates will open two hours before the start. We recommend using public transport, and we ask fans to arrive on time for quick and smooth entry and not to bring luggage," said Jenő Sipos. He also reported that this time there will also be a fan village where those interested can try different activities, there will be a freestyle show, face painting, foosball, and even the official balls of the previous European championships.
