The official song of Pope Francis' visit to Hungary is ready. The live presentation of the work entitled Camino - Christ, our future will take place on April 29 at the Papp László Budapest Sports Arena, before the arrival of Pope Francis. His video clip, however, can already be viewed on the Internet.
The song Camino - Christ Our Future is about perseverance and victory over darkness. The associated video clip was uploaded to the largest video sharing portal on Tuesday. This is the official song of the papal visit to Hungary.
The work is a continuation of one of the theme songs of the Jesuit musical St. Ignatius. The new, symphonic version is performed by: Attila Dolhai, Renáta Szőcs, Szandi, Bogi Nagy, Gergő Dánielfy and Márton Vizy.
The composer of the piece told M1:
the song has two messages; one is to turn to the light, and the other is the need for peace.
The live premiere of the song of the papal visit will take place on Saturday, April 29, at the Papp László Budapest Sportarena. The artists, accompanied by the choir and orchestra, will perform the song in those moments when Pope Francis arrives in the hall to meet young people there.
