From Monday, for a week, the police will increase compliance with the maximum permitted speed on the country's public roads, announced the communication service of the National Police Headquarters.
The Operational Group of the Network of European Traffic Police Bodies (ROADPOL Operational Group) announced an increased control under the name Speed between April 17 and April 23, 2023, to which the Hungarian police will also join. The police are conducting increased speed checks throughout Hungary, as part of which a so-called 24-hour "Speedmarathon" check will also take place from 6 a.m. on April 21st to 6 a.m. on April 22nd, 2023.
So beware, high speed can come at a high price!
