"What I noticed:

I haven't seen so many old cars in a long time, Lada and Zsiguli. What does that mean? It means that people's income is quite modest.

However, he added that what he saw was clean and tidy.

"This means that the people here are disciplined, hardworking, but of course they need real help," Putin said at the government meeting.

According to the Russian president, the price level in these regions is even higher than in the Rostov area. In this regard, he turned to Prime Minister Mihail Misustyin and Deputy Prime Minister Marat Husnullin with the request to develop a plan on how to eliminate this disproportion.
