A few dozen agitated teachers, who knows how many times, announced a strike again. Again, they fill the left-wing press with their grievances, read out their demands again, play with the nerves of their students and their parents again. The scenario is boringly familiar. They demand. Everything. Academic freedom, pay rise and everything else they can think of. In any case, freedom is understood as shouting the liberal position of always allowing everything to everyone as many times as possible.
They organize a procession on some busy road, people with loudspeakers come, schoolchildren are diverted, high school girls will please themselves mostly with obscene signs and obscene texts.
The word teacher now refers to a significantly wider circle than even twenty years ago. However, even so, at least on the verbal level, a number greater than a hundred thousand indicates the proportions quite accurately. Against the overwhelming majority, a few dozen teachers are breaking away from it. They madly adhere to the Soviet model, calling the minority a majority. This is how the Mensheviks will magically become Bolsheviks. Nowadays, when nursery and kindergarten nannies, so-called teaching assistants, and peddle substitutes are also considered teachers, it is even more saddening to hear the din of the loud group that has been refusing to work from time to time for years. All of this is sad, because those who, in addition to their specialized subjects, supposedly received ethical and psychological training at the universities, set an example of not respecting the law.
Lawlessness instead of following the law. This is how the authority of an educated person is reduced to nothing, and this is how the scumbag who appears on the scene with obscene expressions can become the main symbol of all kinds of pedagogic movements.
Most of the time, it seems, for the protesting minority of the teaching community, existence still defines consciousness. Mostly they want more money. The percentages fly, they demand an immediate salary increase of fifty, seventy, one hundred percent. In vain, the specialist in education management tries to tell them with relative patience every time a strike flares up, that in two years teacher salaries can reach unprecedented heights. By 2025, the government would increase the average wage by seventy percent, to eight hundred thousand forints.
This is a conditional method because it also requires EU funds. Yes, but EU funds have been plugged. The European Commission for the effective intervention of Hungarian MEPs. The leader of the left, Ferenc Gyurcsány, who once also obtained a teacher's diploma, made a statement about this on one of the radio stations. He said that the EU funds are not coming because we can only get them if the government is overthrown. They do not give to the conservative-Christian country management. Gyurcsány, a liar, a slanderer, and a thesis thief, even angrily confessed that we owe all of this to Hungarian left-wing politicians. They were there.
So how is it now? The opposition behind the teachers' demonstrations is therefore doing the same as those few hot-headed teachers: they are trying to get a better grade out of treason.
