K ovács from Miskolc became the most successful at the Inter-Schuh-Service (ISS) international professional exhibition and competition held in Wiesbaden, Germany - the shoe maker from Miskolc informed MTI. The master shoemaker won four gold medals and a grand prize in the men's shoes category with his four entered shoes.
The footwear awarded with the gold medal are all unique pieces, which, according to his information, were made by the master shoemaker with his own hands, from the first designs, cutting and sewing to the last polish.
At the competition, forty-six master shoemakers from sixteen countries compared their skills with handmade footwear in every element.
According to the announcement, the Attila Shoes brand belonging to the Miskolc shoemaker is recognized worldwide and regularly ranks among the best in world competitions. One of his most famous customers was Roger Moore back in 2010, whose shoes Attila Kovács laser-engraved the words James Bond 007.

When asked by MTI, Attila Kovács said that the Attila Shoes brand he owns belongs to Ortopán Kereskedelmi és Szolgáltató Kft., and that he hopes the brand's sales will increase by about 20 percent this year.
