The director was dismissed despite the fact that the court ruled that his dismissal in January was illegal. As it was written, three weeks ago the Munkács Municipal District Court reinstated István Schink to his post with immediate effect, but today, May 8, the head of the institution was dismissed again without any substantial justification - reports the Subcarpathian Hungarian weekly newspaper Kárpáti Igaz Szó .
"The only difference is that, instead of Katalin Angyalossy, Mihajlo Labos is now the executor," reads a statement published on the high school's official social media page.
In January of this year, Viktor Baloga and his supporters exerted enormous pressure on the Transcarpathians, including the Hungarian community in Münkac. After advocating and carrying out the demolition of the turul, the next step that caused great indignation was István Schink, Munkácsi 3. Sz. II. It was the dismissal of the director of Ferenc Rákóczi Secondary School. The majority considered the dismissal to be a revenge campaign by the anti-Hungarian Baloga clan, because Schink had led the educational institution excellently for 17 years, and his colleagues and the community spoke highly of him.
Later, the school's faculty protested in a statement about the unfounded decision that hurt and insulted the community. The outraged teachers turned to the mayor of Munkács, Andrii Baloga, with the demand that István Schink be reinstated in his former position.
However, Baloga did not comply with the request, so István Schink turned to the court. The Munkács Municipal District Court then decided on the reinstatement of Isvtán Schink to the position of director.
