The B component of the Stipendium Peregrinum Scholarship Program (STIPI), which covers the cost of the most talented young people's studies abroad, can be applied for again, the Sándor Palace told MTI on Friday.
Applications can be submitted between May 26 and June 12. The main patron of the Stipendium Peregrinum is Katalin Novák , the originator and initiator of the program.
The purpose of the Stipendium Peregrinum scholarship program is to provide financial and professional support to outstanding talents. Students admitted to the world's most prestigious universities can apply for non-refundable support of the STIPI B component. The support enables scholarship recipients to develop their skills in an international environment, to gain access to the most up-to-date knowledge possible, and to obtain their first foreign degree.
The scholarship provides significant financial assistance to the winners, the support covers all their expenses for one year: from tuition fees to travel and accommodation costs to meals. Applicants can receive up to HUF 28 million in support per person.
Applications for young people between the ages of 17 and 23 are due on Monday, June 12 at 2 p.m. They can be submitted via the online application management interface form on the csaladpartialapitvany.hu website, by uploading the necessary attachments. The Stipendium Peregrinum Scholarship program is implemented within the framework of the National Talent Program , for the fourth time this year.
In the announcement, it was emphasized that this year, more than ever before, around HUF 800 million is available for the three components of STIPI. In recent years, a total of 429 young people submitted applications for component B, of which 77 received support. The lowest amount of the scholarship was two million forints, the highest was almost 23 million forints.
Currently, 56 young people are studying around the world with the help of the B or C component of the scholarship. The latter provides financial support to the stipends already in the program who have successfully fulfilled the scholarship requirements to continue and complete their education. In recent years, among others, young Hungarians have been able to study for the program at the universities of the English University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States, the University of Amsterdam, the French École Polytechnique or the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich thanks to - the announcement states.
