The Flag of the Nation on Sunday, June 4, 2023, on Andrássy Úto - The event is in its fifth year this year.
The event pays tribute to Flag and Coat of Arms Day. We will carry an 1,848-meter-long, national-colored, two-meter-wide flag along Andrássy út, from the Opera to Hősök tere, where it forms a living cockade. This year, due to the Day of Unity, this flag will be supplemented with a four-hundred-meter long Székely flag, which surrounds the red-white-green cockade, representing our Hungarians abroad.
Patron of the event: Most Reverend Bishop László Tőkés.
On the occasion of the event, in the framework of a flashmob, at the time of the signing of the Trianon dictum, at 16:32, the Peace Bells of Unity will be rung.
