In an international organization, if the previously established legal order is continuously violated, even by the leading institutions and persons themselves, clear signs of crisis are evident.
Well, that is exactly what is happening in the European Union.
And all of this arises precisely in the procedures related to us, Hungary, and Poland (it is true, they have now scored very good points in front of Brussels with their almost passionate pro-war and anti-Russian attitude).
But let's go in order, let's take a few glaring examples of how the EU legal system has almost no significance anymore.
First of all, let's remember that in 2018, the usually devastating report on the rule of law and democracy of our country written by Judith Sargentini in the European Parliament was actually not voted on by the EP, because the abstaining voters (48!) were included - and they must be included! - there was not a two-thirds majority.
However, the EP decided in a very creative way that the abstentions would not be counted in the vote, and thus the two-thirds majority was already achieved. That's what they call the plague: skillful.
Hungary filed a lawsuit for this violation of law, since, as Justice Minister Judit Varga wrote on her social media page, this was not only contrary to the EU treaties, but also to the Parliament's own rules of procedure! In 2021 (quick decision!) the Court "of course" rejected our claim, and thus the Court itself took an illegal path. ("The best part of him got out," Tamás Cseh would sing.)
But this was only the beginning, from here the really harsh legal action started.
The pandemic arrived, Covid-19 broke in, there was panic, closures, quarantine everywhere, and later the mRNA vaccines arrived, which we now know about, but for some reason we don't talk about the fact that they were put on the market in a hurry, many side effects were experienced in the experimental phase Also in the case of Pfizer and Moderna, but who cared then? (Nowadays, perhaps more people should be interested, at home as well.) And what happened then?
Ursula von der Leyen, this amazingly talented woman, negotiated the purchase of 1.8 billion vaccines for 35 billion euros with Albert Bourla, the president of Pfizer, via text message. This went completely against the EU legislation, which requires the transparency and verifiability of contracts.
Consequence?
Zero to date. Our Ursula continues to fight with great vigor against Russia and to the detriment of the citizens of the Union.
And here we are already at the latest illegality: the European Commission challenged the Hungarian Child Protection Act at the CJEU (Court of the European Union). This is incomprehensible because, according to the basic treaties, issues of education, child rearing, and culture are clearly within the competence of the member states.
I don't even want to talk about the continuous attacks on the Orbán government, commissions of inquiry, false and fact-ignoring reports from both the parliament and the committee, baseless and purposeless reports on the rule of law, because there wouldn't be enough space to list them.
It is particularly outrageous that the left-wing, liberal and once center-right, populist "coalition" of the EP wants to prevent Hungary from holding the EU presidency in the second half of 2024. This is an altar scandal that has never happened in the history of the union, and if it does appear now, it is already a serious anti-Hungarian manifestation, almost aimed at our exclusion - or not "almost".
And finally, here is the harshest initiative, for which it is already difficult to find words: nine countries are initiating the abolition of the veto institution defended by De Gaulle in the 1960s, which is included in all EU basic treaties and has been unquestionable until now.
If they can carry this through, it will most certainly be aimed at sweeping Hungary out of the way of the globalists and liberals, essentially rendering our presence in the union meaningless.
The EU's elite, Brussels, tramples on the rule of law in order to achieve its desired goals, including the continuation of the war against the Russians to the tune of America and the world.
Where law ceases, there remains mere power and violence.
This is where Europe is headed, this is where the West is headed
And we should do everything for euxit, that is, for the union to change radically and become a Europe of nations again. Or more precisely: finally, for the first time in its 70-year history, nations should become Europe, because this has never really and completely been achieved. Let's do all this so that we don't have to think about huxit, that is, our exit, that is, we can avoid that in the end our leaving is the best solution, and so that we never have to say that there is only a real, free and democratic life outside the European Union.
