Another wish of the filmmaker of the Island of Good Hope came true, as his work was in the TOP10 on Netflix for more than a week.
Dimitry Ljasuk's feature film Jóreménységsziget, about the voluntary quarantine in Lake Tisza, can be viewed on Netflix .
The creator of the film previously stated on his Facebook page that another dream of his has come true, and that he is very happy that Jóreménység sziget can also be watched on the biggest streaming platform after the cinema, and he said what would make him even happier.
It would be a huge thing for an independent film to be among the TOP 10 most watched films by Hungarian viewers, because then I might have a chance to appear on foreign Netflix as well - Ljasuk Dimitry expressed his further wishes in his previous post, noting that the English dubbed version of the film has already been completed.
He didn't have to wait long, another dream has already come true, as he managed to get into the top ten, and shared the good news on his social media page. He thanked the streaming service and the viewers that many people watched his film, so it was in the TOP 10 for more than a week.

The shots taken in nature are astonishing, and the viewers can also feel like they are at Lake Tisza. The main character lives on the island for half a year, during which he experiences the beauties of life, which most people do not - or only pay very little attention to - during the rush of everyday life. In the film, not only the main character wakes up to what are the really important things in life, but the viewers can also be enriched with many useful lessons.
