The population wants to force the demolition by collecting protest signatures, the giant solar sail piles built by the left-wing local government do not match what was included in the previous visual plans.
The left-wing municipality's development of Pethe Ferenc Square in Óbuda caused public outrage. The population thought that imposing piles would hold the colorful solar sails, but the visual plan of the left-wing mayor László Kiss was deceptive, and the reality was disappointing, reports Metropol .
The necessary money for the development of the central square of Kaszásdůlő was obtained by the municipality led by Balázs Bús through a tender from the capital led by István Tarlós. After dr. László Kiss came to power, time stood still on the square. Not only was there no development for years, but permanent closures made everyday life miserable for the population. The locals somehow tolerated this, and were even happy that the Kisses are finally finishing the renovation of the square. This is how the left-wing city government managed to remove the spacious, bright atmosphere of the square from 700 million. The public was misled with the visual plans. This frame structure - which will hold the stretched solar sails - is not related to the huge iron pipes that have actually been erected.
The black pipe forest ruined the space
According to the residents, the thick, black iron pipes narrow the space and take the space away from pedestrians. It will destroy the former pedestrian street so much that it will no longer be possible to hold events on the square, even though the locals liked it very much. The topic blew up the internet, for example, one commenter claimed that he had reported the problem to the mayor long before, but he received the usual cynical response, telling him to keep his opinion to himself, and nobody else is bothered by the new face of the square.
According to the left-wing local government, the population is to blame
Tímea Newman, the municipality's consultant, responded to the comments. Incidentally, he is a regular participant in the campaigns of not only László Kiss , but also Tímea Szabó, who has an office on the square. Newman blamed the residents for the situation, because according to him, they were not willing to participate in large numbers in the announced consultations.
If the population had paid attention to our calls, they would not have complained afterwards!
he wrote grandly.
