With Franciska Törőcsik and Márk Ember in the main roles, filming will begin in late autumn on How could I live without you? musical, which tells the story of an adventurous summer in Balaton with the songs of Ferenc Demjén - the National Film Institute (NFI) released information.
In its statement, the NFI highlights that in the film, which takes place on two time planes, the 30-year-old heroine, who is stuck in both her music career and her personal life, finds a stack of letters written by an unknown man in her deceased grandfather's house. The letters reveal a captivating love story from 1989, when the protagonist's mother was on vacation at Lake Balaton with her girlfriends and was planning a life together with the fiancé chosen for her by her father. The girls meet the members of a rock band, and then everything is swept away by love, the announcement states.
The script of the story based on Ferenc Demjén's hits was written by comedian Anett Kormos with Krisztina Goda. The name of the latter is associated with many successful movies as a director and screenwriter (Freedom, love, Only sex is nothing else, Kaméleon, BUÉK), and now he also contributes as a creative producer.
The film is directed by Dénes Orosz, and the audience can see Franciska Törőcsik and Márko Ember in the lead roles.
The film is produced by IKO, produced by Attila Kirády.
