Village civil organizations can apply for a HUF one billion budget within the framework of the Hungarian Village Program.
Alpár Gyopáros announced that the applications can be submitted from Tuesday until August 31, a maximum of seven million forints can be requested for the purchase of real estate or the modernization of existing properties, as well as for the purchase of a vehicle, and a maximum of two million forints can be requested for the purchase of equipment, as well as for supporting events and programs.
At a press conference in Budapest on Monday, the Prime Minister's Commissioner responsible for the development of modern settlements highlighted that there are no substantial content changes in the call for tenders published on Monday compared to previous years, however, organizations that have previously won support for the purchase of real estate or vehicles cannot apply for this activity again.
Alpár Gyopáros recalled that the Village Civil Fund tender was announced for the first time in 2020, and since then more than six thousand winners in almost two thousand settlements have been supported in the amount of twenty billion forints.
Village civil organizations preserve tradition, save and pass on values, create communities and strengthen community life, therefore, according to their experience, organizations that carry out some important thematic activity, such as civil guards, volunteer firefighters, village builders or charitable associations, apply, the state secretary added.
Alpár Gyopáros pointed out that in previous years it was possible to increase the amount of the tender, and he is confident that it will be the same this year.
