In recent weeks, the Lent scandal sparked by Transparent Transylvania came to an end.
As we reported earlier, they can attack the Franciscan monk and the foundation he leads, which operates dozens of children's homes throughout Transylvania, with untrue accusations. Now, one after the other, the characters of the disparaging articles are recanting and asking for brother Csaba's forgiveness in public posts. The woman chosen as the protagonist of the Böjte scandal and featured in video interviews states in her open letter that someone wanted the father's head for her. the Böjte Csaba Dosszié group, more and more people think that everything that happened was a planned discrediting action against the monk.
The thought that you are being hurt and followed because of me hurts. I was wrong. I admit that I shouldn't have let my anger get the better of me. Unfortunately, I wrote inappropriate things and it was abused
Mónika begins her open letter to Csaba Böjte. The young woman who was first waved by Átlátszó Erdély and then by RTL Klub as a red flag. Alleging that sexual abuse took place in some children's homes operated by the Szent Ferenc Foundation in Deva.
I finally managed to remove the toxic people who wanted your head through me.
And Mónika is not the only one who has backed down from the multi-front attack
A woman named Berni, who worked as an educator in Déva for a few years, previously wrote a snake-and-frog story about Csaba Böjte and the children's homes in multi-part diary entries, including that Dickensian conditions prevail and children are abused there. A few days ago, Bernadett also publicly apologized, as she puts it, for the posts written "out of anger and failure". He also wrote about the fact that he sat up to rumors, which led to accusations. In fact, he fell for the task he was given. The big family turned out to be too big a bite, and he couldn't bear the failure.
I hope that I will be forgiven as well! I would rather thank you for the good that I received, that I was accepted during covid... I fell into it...
he said.
He then thanked that, thanks to the time spent in Deva, his son learned where the Good Lord lives, knows how to pray, goes to church on his own and has a very good soul.
I have a lot to learn from him
- wrote the former educator, who by the way deleted all the previous defamatory posts.
the Böjte Dosszié group are shocked by the developments. More and more people are losing their tempers: the thread of the derogatory articles has been broken, the alleged victims are coming back one by one and asking for forgiveness. There are comments that clearly state that the big whistleblowers lied, but they did so under some influence. Someone used them, took advantage of them.
As Mónika puts it: "poisonous people wanted Csaba Böjte's head" through her and who knows who else, which articles did not even appear after the first article by PestiSrácok, which refuted the false accusations.
"It was all a lie then?", "People are gullible, it shouldn't have been done like that." This dirt will not be washed away by an apology letter. I myself read the published articles for months and was horrified reading the horrors", "Unfortunately, this is how it all became discredited"
– the comments are rife.
Every word of Csaba Böjte reveals that he not only preaches about the pure love preached by the Franciscans, but also practices it and forgives. Although he does not specifically respond to open letters, confessions, and apologies, almost all of his posts in recent days are about forgiveness.
St. II. Pope János Pál gave the bullet that pierced his body to Mária and went to prison, he forgave the murderer who wanted to kill him! This is the way of the saints. How different would the world be if we also walked this path?
- the father wrote on his social media page the other day.
He then posted that it is easy to talk about the victory of ultimate love, but it is difficult to live this faith in everyday life:
It is hard to believe that with the person who says bad things to us or stabs us in the back, it is possible to settle the disagreement and achieve that we can live in peace and love. In St. Francis, St. Rita, and so many saints, we admire just that…not only admire, but do everything to win our brother to life and LOVE.
