András Csaba Dézsi did not ask for a new car after his election, he used the one that Zsolt Borkai had.
The mayor of Győr, András Csaba Dézsi issued a statement in which he reported that the mayor does not coordinate the rental of cars at the town hall, so he did not know how much the company car is rented for. He went on to say that after it became clear how much the mayor's office was renting an Audi A8 for him, he ordered an investigation, and after he considered the amount of the rental fee to be unreasonably high,
"therefore, he ordered the termination of the lease".
According to the mayor of Győr, after his election three and a half years ago, he did not ask for a new car, but continued to use the one used by his predecessor, Zsolt Borkai, an Audi A8.
Post by Dr. András Csaba Dézsi:
"Given that the mayor does not coordinate the rental of cars at the City Hall, I did not know how much the mayor's official car is rented for. I just faced this price. When I became mayor, I did not ask for a new car, but sat in the A8 passenger car shown in the attached photo, which was rented to my predecessor and which he had used until then. I ordered an investigation and I consider the amount of the rental fee, which I have only now become aware of, to be unreasonably high, therefore I have given instructions to terminate the rental agreement. In addition, I will be driving a car owned by the City Hall, purchased in the previous cycle, not assigned to a specific person, and used by my colleagues for specific tasks."
