Over the weekend, he was awarded the Hungarian Order of Merit, and the left-wing heckling campaign launched against him in recent days has left him in tatters. In his interview with Mandiner the Franciscan monk
The newspaper asked Csaba Böjte about the Hungarian Order of Honor, and he replied that he would go home and cut it into at least ten thousand pieces. When we are confused, he explains: he wants to give some of it to the six thousand children "who let us raise them" and to a thousand colleagues who have worked with him over the past decades, either as volunteers for a few weeks or months, or as close colleagues for tens of years. Csaba Böjte feels that "this award is for thirty years of cooperation" .
he says
this award is not mine, it belongs to all my people. If our people were not honest and generous, I alone would not have been able to raise, clothe, educate and feed these children every blessed day."
Speaking about the fruits of their work, he says: those who grew up with them have now had a total of a thousand children, whom Böjte calls grandchildren.
The broad discrediting campaign against Csaba Böjte went on for many months, to which the left-wing and liberal press products also strongly contributed. ( HERE )
The Franciscan monk said of this period that gold is tested in fire.
“Our Lord Jesus Christ said; "Whoever wants to follow me must deny himself, take up his cross and follow me!" There will always be trials and difficulties, there have been up to now and there will be in the future, he adds, referring to the fact that the past period was not easy.
At the same time, he emphasizes that he was "moved to tears" by that stance, by the letters he received from the children who once grew up with him in recent months, who all supported him, encouraged him, and comforted him.
He also said
nor did he cut ties with those who slandered him. "We had a constant dialogue and now we have reached the point where we have reconciled," says brother Csaba with emotion.
"All my life I've been looking for ways to bring out the good in someone. These newspaper articles cannot change me, I want to continue walking the path of love", says Böjte in a confessional manner.
"We should love each other, not hate each other!" Csaba Böjte concluded his speech.
