Hungarian President Katalin Novák and her family are on vacation in Székelyföld, as she reported on her social media page. It turned out that the Hungarian head of state had already arrived in Transylvania on Sunday, where he first attended the New Bread holiday service at Farcád in Hargita County, while on Monday he went on a trip to Gyergyo and shared a family photo taken on top of Kis-Cohárd.

The President of the Republic of Hungary, Katalin Novák, arrived in Transylvania for a family vacation, excluding the (press) public. However, his followers were still able to learn about the private trip, as the head of state himself shared two photos on his Facebook page with a two-line post about where he was and what he was doing.

According to the testimony of the first post, Katalin Novák and her family were already in Székelyföld on Sunday, where they participated in the festive service held on the occasion of the blessing of the new bread at Farcád in Hargita County. His post published on his Facebook page also revealed that "this was the start of the family vacation", at the same time he thanked the locals for the "experience".

According to his post on Monday afternoon, the President of the Republic already went for a walk in the Gyergyó basin and published a family picture taken on the top of Kis-Cohárd on social media. In his post, he repeatedly pointed out that he is on a private trip in Székelyföld: "Family trip in Gyergyo. View from Kis-Cohárd," wrote Katalin Novák for the picture.

The President of the Republic of Hungary visited Romania for the third time this year

As is known, he arrived in Szatmár county in April, when the statue of Ferenc Kölcsey was unveiled in Nagykároly. His visit at that time received a great response, as Romanian nationalist demonstrators greeted him and disrupted his speech.

Just a month and a half later, Katalin Novák also took part in the Pentecost farewell held in Csíksomlyo on May 27, where the participants greeted the President of the Hungarian Republic with applause upon his arrival.

In May of last year, also with the participation of Katalin Novák, the statue of Gábor Bethlen was inaugurated in Gyulafehérvár, the event lasting a few minutes was disturbed by an unpleasant incident: despite the strict security measures, a man - dressed in Romanian folk costume - approached the Hungarian head of state and the bishop of the Transylvanian Reformed Church District, and the to the mayor of Gyulafehérvár, who was standing next to them, and wanted to hand over a framed portrait of Avram Iancu, while loudly demanding that a statue be erected for the Romanian leader and not for the Transylvanian prince Gábor Bethlen.
