Vanda Kiszli won the individual kayak competition for the fifth time in a row at the marathon kayak-canoe world championship in Vejen Kolding, Denmark, where four adult and one youth competitions were held on Saturday.
According to the website of the Hungarian association, Kiszli defended his title with a confident course in the 24.3-kilometer race, thus celebrating the eighth World Cup title of his career. Zsófia Czéllai-Vörös was also in the lead, she ended up in seventh place.
The canoeist Márton Kövér won the silver medal in the C-1 21 kilometer race after a huge feat.
The nine-time BHSE world champion finished second in singles for the third time in a row. In the same number, Simon Sebestyén launched his ship in seventh place and Karolina Hegedűs also obtained the same position in the similar women's number.
In men's K-1 (27.6 km), two young people represented Hungary, Sellyei Csanád was 12th, Péli Zalán was 19th.
Árpád Kékesi further increased the medal collection of the youth, after he finished third in K-1 21 kilometers.
The Hungarian delegation thus has six gold, three silver and four bronze medals before the closing day, with which it continues to lead the medal table.
