Entrepreneur István Varga, who no longer wants to expand his business empire, would open a gold mine in Börzsöny and use its income to do something really good.
"A kind of historical justice would prevail, at least in part, and by peaceful means," said the 77-year-old entrepreneur with national sentiments.
The businessman considers the research data to be credible, according to which - in the form of dust - gold worth 500 billion euros is hidden in the Börzsöny to a depth of 500 meters.
"I wouldn't gain anything by buying a third car in addition to my two cars, and I don't want a bigger house either. I have already experienced all the good things in life, so I want to do as much as possible for the benefit of my holy Hungarian homeland," emphasized the businessman.
According to István Varga, extraction in the mine will be carried out by robots, so traditional mining methods will no longer be used. "Negotiations with a Japanese company about the production of the machines are already underway. We are also building a processing plant underground," said the entrepreneur, who is confident that the works can start within two years.
István Varga wants to create something lasting, so he sees it as a great opportunity to buy Transcarpathia from the Ukrainian state with the profits of the mine.
"On the one hand, our country would be bigger with the county territory, and on the other hand, a kind of historical justice would prevail, at least partially, and by peaceful means," argued the businessman, who, if he implements his plan, will surely go down in the history books.
