Several media reported that behind the effort to influence Mexican children, among others, is a former Venezuelan government official.
According to the newspaper, the books that follow the woke spirituality are full of materials that are difficult to follow, full of errors, they lack basic language and math tasks, and in addition, they also contain several age-restricted contents that are difficult to justify. The textbooks were so controversial that some of the country's governors outright refused to distribute them because they believed they demonized capitalism.

12,000 parents took part in the demonstration in the south of Mexico where the "Marxist books" were burned, and so far more than 112,000 people have signed the petition demanding that the government stop the distribution of the books.
"Mexico is threatened by a virus that people thought was already eradicated - the communist virus," said Javier Alatorre, a well-known Mexican TV host, against a backdrop of a hammer and sickle and the country's education officials. He added: these people want to condemn Mexico to poverty, mediocrity and hatred.
