The forest of the Polish town of Kalety hosted this year's European shooting championship. The sports shooters of Hajdú-Bihar County returned home with excellent results from the two-day competition at the weekend, Sándor Szilágyi, a member of the Püspökladányi Shooting Club, haon.hu.
In the junior age group, Vágner Lara , a competitor of the Püspökladányi Lövészklub, defended his European championship title with an outstanding individual performance and was able to raise the trophy again.
Zsigmond Zolnai, who also competed in the colors of Püspökladány, won the bronze medal, while Károly Tarsoly , representing the Cívis LE, finished in fifth place. Sándor Szilágyi (Püspökladányi LK) won a silver medal as a member of the national team in addition to the individual fifth place of the night competition.
