The Hungarians won six medals, four gold and two bronze on Friday's competition day at the World Martial Arts Games in Riyadh.

According to the report of the National Competitive Sports Association (NVESZ), the delegation was able to enjoy three first places in the kick-boxers and one in the skaters, in addition to this, there was also a third place in both sports, so

Hungary is currently in eighth place in the medal table with six gold and four bronze.

In kick-boxing - point fighting - in the women's 65 kilogram weight group, Andrea Busa, and in the men's category, Bence Zajácz (69 kg) and Lajos Fésű (79 kg) were able to stand on the highest step of the podium. Anna Kondár (70 kg) finished third. István Király, the president of the European federation of the sport, was among the kickboxing medalists.

Simon Dániel of Paraskender won the gold medal in the standing category, while Brigitta Kőváriné Ivánfi, the seven-time world champion and fourteen-time European champion, came third in the 65-kilogram category. Henrietta Barzsó finished fourth in the same weight group. On the first day of the multisport competition, left-handed competitions were held. Dániel Simon received the gold medal from Attila Csabai, the president of the national association.

Alexa Tóth and Nikoletta Szmolka won a gold each in grappling, and Tereza Crisley Cordeiro De Souza (jiu-jitsu) and Patrik Buzás (sumo) won bronze medals on the Hungarian side at the competition, which featured 1,500 athletes from 120 countries.
