About 3,000 people protest in downtown Essen shouting "Allahu Akbar".
The "Islamic Generation" organization announced the anti-Israel demonstration in Germany with the slogan "Gaza under fire". the Bild article, radical Salafists came from all over North Rhine-Westphalia.
Around 3,000 protesters marched through downtown Essen shouting "Allahu Akbar".
According to the article, the marchers are calling for the creation of a caliphate that includes Germany, which they say is the "Only Solution." Their speaker, Ahmad Tamim, said in his speech:
all the muslims of the world should unite for the palestinians, as this is what Allah wants.
According to Islamic scholar Ahmad Omeirate, Ahmad Tamim posted a propaganda video on YouTube (with over 58,000 subscribers) just one day after Hamas's terrorist attack on Israel. In it, he claimed that Hamas was merely "defending itself in an action", glorifying the brutal killing of women, men, children and the elderly.
