The supplementary pension increase will arrive soon, said Zsolt Nyitrai, the prime minister's chief adviser, in a video published on his Facebook page on Sunday.
According to his announcement, pensioners can receive an average of HUF 80,000 more in November.
"We stand up for the interests of the elderly and protect their benefits. We also returned the 13th monthly pension taken away by left-wing governments in an increased form"
he emphasized.
Zsolt Nyitrai reminded that pensions increased by 15 percent in January this year. In November, the elderly can expect an additional increase, he added.
The prime minister's chief adviser said that pensions will be raised again in January, and the 13th monthly benefit will arrive in February.
