They don't give up!

The BRFK banned the holding of a meeting that was announced in connection with the ongoing armed conflict between the terrorist organization Hamas and Israel. He added to the decision of the Budapest Police Headquarters: there is reason to fear that the event would lead to violence.

The BRFK wrote on the police.hu website that the meeting was announced by a private individual on November 22nd in the II. district.

They explained that similar movements in many cities in Europe and the world have turned into violence recently, so there is reason to fear that this would threaten public order, public safety and the physical integrity of those present in Hungary as well, which is why the Budapest Police Headquarters prohibited it based on the law on the right of assembly holding the meeting.

The BRFK drew attention to the fact that participation in a prohibited meeting entails a sanction.

Since the outbreak of the armed conflict between Israel and Hamas, the Budapest police have banned several similar events in October.
