The far-left in prison for manhunt received bad news.

The attacks, which resulted in several serious injuries and were carried out using the methods of a German criminal organization, were carried out by a criminal organization made up of foreigners back in February. Mandiner received new information in the case.

Known: a radical gang armed with vipers and wearing ski masks attacked several victims in Budapest, including a man in his 40s in the XI. district in February 2023.

Several were beaten so badly that they had to be taken to the hospital. According to media reports, the victims were randomly selected based on their military-style clothing. The capital police detained four people, including three foreigners, that same month.

The Budapest Police Headquarters (BRFK) ordered criminal proceedings in the first instance for the crime of violence against a member of the community.

Among the attackers, the uniformed men began to follow several of them and finally caught them in the city center: a German man, a German and an Italian woman.

They had a plastic-covered hammer, rubber gloves lined with lead, a viper, gas spray, and it turned out that the threads of the brutal attacks reached all the way to an international criminal organization. The manhunt was carried out using the methods of the notorious German far-left criminal organization, the Hammerbande.

In addition, one of the armed leftists is connected to the infamous German far-left Kalapács gang, whose members use similar methods to deal with their political opponents abroad, Magyar Nemzet wrote in its March article.

The Prosecutor General's Office of the Capital City recently brought charges against the three foreigners, according to which all three participated in the February attacks as members of a criminal organization. Among the defendants, the Italian woman is charged with the crime of attempted life-threatening bodily harm committed in a criminal organization, and the German man and the woman, who is also a German citizen, with the crime of participating in a criminal organization.

The other perpetrators are still being sought: European and international arrest warrants have been issued against one Albanian, one Syrian, two Italians and ten German citizens.

The latest development in the case is that the extreme leftists who organized manhunts in Budapest will remain in prison until the first-instance verdict.

The court reserved the arrest of the two foreign left-wing radicals, who are accused of participating in the Antifa attacks in February, until the first-instance decision, the prosecutor's office and the Capital District Court announced at Mandiner's request.

The order is not final, as the defenders have announced an appeal.

For the time being, the German woman will remain under criminal supervision until next February, while the arrest of her compatriot and the Italian woman was upheld in the past few days by the Metropolitan Court ruling on their case.
