The prime minister declared at the 30th Fidesz reform congress that Hungary will defend itself and resist with all its might.
At the beginning of his speech, the re-elected President Viktor Orbán said: "trust is an honor, and it is now."
"It is an honor that you once again entrusted me with the task of leading the most successful and strongest political community in the country, and even in Europe: Fidesz. As for my devotion: you will not be disappointed."
"To tell the truth, I guessed that it would be like this," the Prime Minister humorously noted, adding that it is not a lack of humility that tells him this, but the fact that "we don't change horses on the go."
I report to the congress: there is still plenty of soufflé in the government and in me too"
and with this, we will definitely be able to make it through the next two and a half years," said the Prime Minister, and then he said: "then we will decide how to proceed at the 2025 congress." Viktor Orbán added: "It helps to consider potential aspirants: "I predict that I am still at my best age, and I plan to be at my best age by '25, and even in the best team."
Speaking about the election victory in 2022, the Prime Minister said:
"it's not an exaggeration: we literally won a victory for the world."
During his speech, the prime minister also mentioned that we have to face "the naked truth: the foreigners wanted to buy the future Hungarian government and the country with it." It's a micro-donation at its best," Viktor Orbán said, adding that "the entire left has agreed to this, which is no joke." The Prime Minister pointed out that
if the left's plan had succeeded: "today there would be tens or hundreds of thousands of migrants in Hungary, Budapest would be in a state similar to the Western cities tormented by pro-terrorist migrant protests and gang wars. Gender activists of indeterminate gender applying for our children would invade public schools and kindergartens. The weapons of the national defense would have been in Ukraine a long time ago, we would be locked in a war with hopeless and unforeseeable consequences," explained the Prime Minister.
He added: Hungary, even our grandchildren, would be debt slaves to György Soros. "This is actually what the left-wing parties and their leaders signed up for," underlined Viktor Orbán. "Is it possible to sell the country for money with impunity?" asked the prime minister. "My friends, it is clear that this cannot continue," he stated. "We expect our parliamentarians to create the rules for the protection of sovereignty, starting with the constitution. So go ahead, Máté!" - said the prime minister to Máté Kocsis.
We have already had difficult governmental years - Viktor Orbán said. As he explained: "it was difficult to wheelbarrow the pile of rubble after the Gyurcsány era, the floods were difficult, the period of migration invasion was difficult, very difficult, and I don't wish the Covid months on anyone."
But none were as difficult as the last two years. The Russian-Ukrainian war, sanctions, the energy crisis and galloping inflation"
he said.
Difficult situations can be mastered by setting clear goals. "The more difficult the situation, the goals should be clearer and more specific," Viktor Orbán pointed out, adding that the government has also set clear goals along these lines.
• Not to get involved in the war despite Western pressure.
• To ensure the country's energy supply despite the gas and oil sanctions.
• To protect overhead reductions, jobs and family support despite soaring international energy prices.
• To preserve the value of pensions despite runaway inflation.
• To help the central bank and cut inflation below ten percent.
• To prevent the starvation attempt of Brussels.
• And to pull the economy out of recession
- listed the Prime Minister and then pointed out:
"I report to the congress: we have achieved the set goals."
"We have remained on the side of peace, our energy supply is secured, utility reduction, jobs and family subsidies have been protected, household energy is the cheapest here in Europe, the value of pensions has been preserved, inflation is below ten percent, it will be more like five percent next year, and our obligations towards Hungarians across the border all fulfilled", assessed the Prime Minister.
The prime minister also highlighted: "We have thwarted Brussels' financial and blackmail attempts, the economy is growing again and will continue to grow", he pointed out, adding that
of course, we'll collect the few euros they still owe, come on, Navra!"
said Viktor Orbán. The head of government said: although the noise of war still dominates the landscape, "we have moved forward and upward again, in the direction of a growing, planable and encouraging Hungarian life, as all Hungarians want and desire. All Hungarians, because even those who voted against us are doing well with us."
There will be new impetus, considerable growth, more income, we will be able to pay the 13th monthly pension, there will be CSOK Plusz, and the baby loan will be more generous, the Prime Minister announced, adding that "go ahead, Misi!"
Viktor Orbán pointed out what everyone can see now
Hungary defends itself with all its strength and resists.
"We resist the invasion of migrants, we resist gender propaganda, we resist mirages of war, Ukraine's unprepared EU membership," and the increasingly "green ideology showing Jacobin symptoms," listed the Prime Minister.
"They are destroying and leading Europe to ruin in Brussels"
The Prime Minister pointed out that the European model in Brussels must be rejected because it has no future and now "Europe is being destroyed and led to ruin in Brussels". As he put it: if it continues like this, we can throw a cross at the Union, but we have to prevent this, because it is in our interest that the Union remains united, added the Prime Minister.
The Union should not be abandoned, but changed"
Viktor Orbán underlined.
Because, if it continues like this, the Union will simply fall apart, explained the Prime Minister. As he pointed out: today neither the Union nor the member states implement their own decisions and violate their own rules, and what is worrying is that everyone has already adapted to this situation. "The Brussels model of Europe has grown old, while the world has renewed, refreshed and gained momentum. If we don't catch the new winds in our sails, our European ship will inevitably slow down," he added.
Moreover, the European model in Brussels is leading to chaos, because more and more people want to live without work. Public order is disappearing, the consequences of migration are already unmanageable, while the mountain of debt keeps growing - pointed out the Prime Minister, adding that investors are taking their money to Asia and America. As he pointed out:
Europe contributed 23 percent to the world's overall economic performance in 1990, and today it contributes 15 percent. By 2030, England will not be among the world's 10 largest economies, and France will not be there. Germany is also just about to fit in as tenth."
We can only say no to that - added the Prime Minister. We don't want to be a migrant ghetto, reserve or debt slave of Soros - Viktor Orbán underlined.
The Prime Minister also touched on the following: we do not want to drift into the role of constant resistance. We have a counter proposal that we have tried. And the Hungarian model is becoming more and more known, visible and envied by more and more people.
The French, the Germans, the Italians and the Austrians would give half their lives if they could have a migration-free country again"
- said Viktor Orbán, adding that "for the time being, we have zero migration, only those who we let in can come here."
"Hungary is today the safest country in Europe"
"Hungary is the safest country in Europe today," explained the prime minister. As he put it: "prosperity here is something for which work is a prerequisite. It doesn't work the other way around."
The Hungarians did not accept these tales
Viktor Orbán explained that while in Europe the green parties are the main supporters of green energy, while in our country the green parties are precisely the opponents of them. Our green policy is not ideological, and it is not party-based. Neither the colorful, nor the red, nor the brown, nor the dark green tales were accepted by the Hungarians, he added.
The new world economic order is born in a huge competition, and Hungary entered this competition
If we want a green world, we must transform our traditional industrial economy into a nature-friendly economy. However, green energy must be stored - pointed out the Prime Minister. The new world economic order is born in a huge competition, and Hungary entered this competition.
The prime minister pointed out that in 10 years, after the completion of Pas2, our economy will produce 52 percent nuclear and 39 percent renewable energy. We did not win the competition with this, because many people can already produce green energy, but there is still no breakthrough in terms of storage.
The winner will be the one who can store as much energy as possible, said the Prime Minister.
This is the key to success
We are in a huge race with the Germans, the French and the Spanish, and we stand to win in this league, said the Prime Minister. Now it is decided where Europe's green technology centers will be formed, and we are now facing opportunities unseen in 150 years, he added. All the conditions for success were given - said Viktor Orbán. There is a serious obstacle, and these are not environmental protection obstacles, but the fact that Hungary is only a market of 10 million people. This is not enough for an economic breakthrough. Without a suitable size and base, you cannot get on the podium - said Viktor Orbán. Hungary must offer something that no one else does, so we must be at the meeting point of the most modern Western and Eastern technology.
Viktor Orbán: Our government is a ninja government, not a kamikaze
Viktor Orbán pointed out that there will be serious political struggles in the coming months. Migrants must be prevented from settling in Hungary, and the issue of Ukraine's accession to the EU must also be resolved. Our government is a ninja government and not a kamikaze government, he added.
We must also win the EP and municipal elections
Viktor Orbán said that the national consultation is a key issue, because that is where the power comes from. The second action will be the European Parliament elections, because the Gyurcsányists must be beaten back. The third action is the local government election, where the presidents of the electoral districts play a central role. We will need the help of all members and activists, because we have to win both the EP and the local government elections - explained Viktor Orbán.
