Average hotel costs in Sibiu are less than £20 per person per night (approximately HUF 8,700). You can eat and drink very cheaply - a mug of mulled wine, for example, is only 2 pounds (870 forints), and handicrafts are also cheaper compared to the European average.
The fair is organized in the Piata Mare area, which forms the heart of the old town, where there is also a skating rink and a Ferris wheel. The space is decorated with festive string lights, creating a wonderful atmosphere in the whirlwind of Advent.
