We know that there is no such thing as a comprehensive European history, only the sometimes interconnected history of European states and nations. And the experience accumulated in these national histories is one of the greatest cultural resources of today's Europe. And we also know why the demand for the creation of a federal superstate is ahistorical, whether this demand is formulated from within or from without - pointed out Zoltán Szalai, Director-General of the Mathias Corvinus Collegium of the European Union Civil Cooperation Council (EuCET) IV. in his speech at the conference.
