In the fairytale forest, the sledge glides and the snow crunches, it's great to get on it now.
This year, Miskolc Városi Közlekedesi Zrt. (MVK) prepared a big surprise for the passengers, as they dreamed and realized a renewed Miskolc Advent Tram.
This is the twelfth time that this festive assembly rolls out of the MVK depot, renewed with special features and novelties. The train turned into a fairy-tale forest.
Inside the tram, one of the iconic landmarks of Miskolc appears instead of the dome furnace, which makes the journey magical. The characters of the Beauty and the Beast fairy tale have also said goodbye, and the little forest animals have taken their place: the host this year is Táltos, the reindeer who called his friends for help, Piglet, Uhu the owl, the cute little squirrels and the always chirping birds.
In the fairytale forest, the sledge glides and the snow crunches, it's great to get on it now. The transport magazine MHD86.cz has so far organized the contest six times, in which you can vote for the most beautiful Advent tram in Europe, and the Miskolc tram has won every year since the beginning.
