"He had a discussion with the populist, conservative, deposed head of state who professes extreme right-wing views," wrote the news portal of a Hungarian private television recently, regarding the meeting of the Hungarian prime minister who visited South America in Argentina. Interview.
Pál Molnár, editor-in-chief of Présház, asked questions to publicist Attila Bánó
Mr. Editor, at the beginning of the 1990s, in the propaganda of the SZDSZ, which won a large parliamentary participation at the time, and which was spread by the great majority of the press at the time, almost everyone who did not belong to the party was an extremist or far-right. Why does this style turn our stomachs today, in 2023?
The former rhetoric, style and use of words of the free democrats still resonates today in some extreme, left-liberal oriented forums. This is truly tasteless and outrageous. About the meeting between Viktor Orbán and Brazil's Jair Bolsonaro in Argentina, one or another portal has allowed itself to use a more descriptive wording than the text quoted in the introduction. We could read, for example, that
"The fallen former president, who was also accused of mass murder, was apparently happy that there are still people who take him seriously, but Orbán could also be the same. The two dictators were greeted with cheers from the receptive audience".
Well, the former Brazilian president was accused of mass murder by his political opponents because, according to them, he handled the covid epidemic badly, and because of it, 700 thousand people died of the disease. Bolsonaro is a right-wing politician, therefore − in the words of such portals − he can only be a dictator as president, just like Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
From there, it only takes one step to describe Orbán as a friend of a mass murderer.
With this power, the extremist pen-twirlers could write that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is a dictator and a mass murderer, because even at the cost of hundreds of thousands of deaths, he stubbornly clings to power, to the continuation of the war, and to serving the military political and economic interests of the USA. However, they speak of him as a defender of Western democracy, ignoring the fact that he silenced the opposition, introduced anti-minority language laws, banned Russian culture and the activities of the church linked to the Moscow patriarch, and also lifted the moratorium on land purchases, thus placing two Hungarians in the hands of foreign, mainly American, investors. good quality Ukrainian farmland.
Despite all this, Zelensky is not a dictator, but an exemplary democrat, and Mrs. Ursula von der Leyen, the influential president of the European Commission, is no friend of a mass murderer. So much for the objectivity of the globalist press.
Géza Hofi also mocked the rampant hatred and labeling at the time, during the end of communism, even if it came from the party-state: "That Horthy-fascist, imprrrrist, capitalist," he said, simulating the party secretaries' use of words, creating great serenity on stage . This practice was brought back by the SZDSZ, but this organization, at least as a party, has disappeared. Can democracy ever be cleansed, or will this taint remain?
These symptoms persist. It is in the interests of those Western clients who support the Hungarian opposition with significant amounts of money to use a substandard style unworthy of civilized society and public life. The phenomenon is related to the long-standing rule of left-liberal arbitrariness in Western Europe, which suppresses the voice of the Christian-conservative camp, makes bad decisions based on false arguments, and does not even ask the opinions of the national communities about them.
According to the excellent László Bogár and his fellow economist Imre Boros, the disintegration of the EU is a real danger. They believe that the global power system rules with the help of corruption.
His weapons are the honey string and the whip, meaning money and threats. The bought politicians cannot dance out of line, since the receipts of the illegal payments are hidden in the relevant files. The two political thinkers recently showed in a TV program that the current leadership wants to turn the European Union into an open dictatorship, and it doesn't even seem like it anymore. This company does not care that an explosion may occur in the foreseeable future. It can give us hope that in the not too distant future, the private opinion of hundreds of millions of people in support of the normality represented by Viktor Orbán and the Hungarian government, spreading on social networks, will become a community resolution capable of replacing the left-liberal forces in Europe with pro-nationalist political leaders.
I think that the process could also take place in a peaceful form, but it is more likely that the "elite" in Brussels, controlled from the outside and accustomed to dictates, will not tolerate this change.
We can rightly fear that an explosion will occur, the consequences of which are unforeseeable. What is the way out? László Bogár believes that it is possible to prepare for major problems by forming coalitions. It is necessary to unite with countries that value sovereignty, are brave and are willing to act. The Hungarian government strengthens this process with its foreign relations.
Could the efforts of the news portal of the private television in the country be counterproductive if we clarify that the Brazilian politician it labels "far-right populist conservative" has a particularly good relationship with Israel?
Today, it is not uncommon for so-called right-wing conservative politicians to sympathize with the current pro-nationalist Israeli government. The phenomenon is also noteworthy because left-liberal, globalist authorities like György Soros, the international speculator, for example, are no friend of the nation-state of Israel, nor of other nation-states. With the help of his well-paid organizations, he works to eradicate them.
Hungary does a lot to strengthen the relations established with Israel, and for the safety and well-being of the domestic Jews. This is the right direction.
The speakers of the open society can "make an effort" in this environment. Today's Hungarian society can take this much, whose pro-nationalist convictions cannot be shaken.
