Fábián Julianna from Bereck was greeted on the occasion of her hundredth birthday in Ojtozi's residence.
Even the woman who understood the beautiful age could not decipher the secret of a long life, but we can deduce it ourselves based on some aspects.
When Zoltán Dimény, mayor of Bereck, and our newspaper visited, aunt Julianna was sleeping, because as it turned out, she actually celebrated her hundredth birthday on Thursday, when a thanksgiving mass was held in the local Roman Catholic church of St. Fabian and Sebestyén in the presence of her numerous relatives, and after that, László Csomós, parish priest of Berecki, serving pastor he also visited him personally, so the celebrant was quite tired. Although we didn't want to disturb him, his family members who were present made him wake up despite our request, and he immediately declared that he wasn't hungry.
However, as we found out, he usually enjoys an excellent appetite and does not complain of any illness or pain, although it is true that he has not been able to get out of bed on his own since Easter. He did not answer our question about the secret of his long life, but the fact that he has never been in a hospital in his life, nor even visited a doctor, and according to his statement, has never taken medicine, is all the more telling.
At the same time, genetics can also help to unlock the secret, since her parents died at the age of more than 90, and her four siblings who are still alive are in their 80s and 90s.
Fábián Julianna was born on December 14, 1923, in a simple farming family in Lemhény. She got married in Ojtoz, which belongs to the village of Bereck, where she gave birth to four children. She currently has seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He is the oldest resident in the village, where Khell Julianna from Berecki lived longer than him (1907–2011). In Felső–Háromszék, the only person still alive is Pál Ferencné Veronika Kerezsi, a widow from Bélafalv who was born on September 25, 1922 in Kézdiszárazpatak.
