The anti-Hungarian Baloga party campaigned again, so far not with much success.

When most people are getting ready for the holiday of love, some representatives of the Beregsász City Council are working on how to bring down the "KMKSZ" - Ukrainian Hungarian Party by inventing baseless accusations: the Beregsász party members of the anti-Hungarian politician wanted to get the members of the KMKSZ to contact the Hungarian government and demand that they also support Ukraine's EU integration, and when the Hungarian politicians were not willing to do so, the provocateurs read out an open petition addressed to Zelensky, in which they demanded that the president ban the operation of the KMKSZ for the duration of the war.

The Beregsász City Council held its plenary session on December 20, at which two opposition faction leaders made a strong provocation against the KMKSZ-Ukrainian Hungarian Party, and they wanted to persuade all members of the representative body to do something illegal, said Karolina Darcsi, KMKSZ, after the meeting. - UMP faction leader.

Namely, Vitaly Antyipov, the faction leader of Yevropejszka Solidarnyisty, and Zoltán Kovács, the leader of the Andrij Baloga Csapata Párt's faction in Berezhda, asked all members of the representative body to

send a letter to the Prime Minister of Hungary, urging European Union support and the start of Ukraine's accession to the EU.

"I informed the representatives of the Ukrainian head of state №671/2021. of its decree, according to which only the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine may address letters, comments, and requests to foreign high-ranking diplomats, heads of state or persons in high positions. If the local representative also wants to do something similar, then the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the President of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers should be approached first," said Karolina Darcsi, who also stated that the goal of her fellow representatives was obviously provocation.

In the rest of the meeting, Zoltán Kovács read out an open petition addressed to the President of Ukraine, asking him to ban the activities of the Hungarian Hungarian Party of Ukraine (KMKSZ) during the war.

"He accused the party of unsubstantiated accusations, as well as made up fabrications about which the KMKSZ will probably file a complaint, as this is a violation of our party's honor, discrediting, and a deliberate provocation. By the way, I am curious about the reaction of the Ukrainian prosecutor's office and the Ukrainian Security Service regarding the case, since I find it absolutely reprehensible and outrageous for two representatives to incite an entire body to commit illegality," added the leader of the KMKSZ faction.

At the council meeting, Karolina Darcsi also reminded Vitaly Antypov that in 2017, when the leader of her party - Petro Poroshenko - was the president of Ukraine, the Transcarpathian Hungarians turned to her with more than 67,000 signatures and numerous petitions, in which they asked the Ukrainian legislature and the state president not to accept the restrictive education law in its then form, which later raised the problems that are still being experienced today, and because of which, for example, Ukraine received a negative opinion on its education law from, among others, the Venice Commission.

"In 2017, KMKSZ stated in a letter addressed to Petro Poroshenko that if he signs the education law in that form, it will hinder Ukraine's integration into the European Union.

It is interesting that where was representative Antyipov at that time, who was already a representative in the Beregsasz City Council, but did not support the will of the electorate, which was signed by 67,000 people. And now, as they are present in the council with three representatives - which also shows how many votes their party got within the sub-region - they are writing letters on behalf of all the residents of the sub-region, while no one gave them the authority to do so," stated Karolina Darcsi .

Even before this, Vitaly Antyipov had manifested himself provocatively in numerous cases, and even made anti-Hungarian statements several times in the meeting room of the Beregaszás town hall, moreover, he obtained Hungarian citizenship under a false name, Anti Viktor, and in 2019 he was at the top of the Hungarian police's wanted list.

And the credibility of Zoltán Kovács, who as a Hungarian is asking for the banning of a Hungarian party - which, by the way, no one from his three-member faction supported - raises further questions.

"The provocative intent of the action is also shown by the fact that the two representatives did not sign the letter, petition or submission - as they could not determine this themselves. If there is a more serious intention behind this, then the representative should add his name and signature, and not just provoke the other representatives in the council chamber for forty minutes," Karolina Darcsi commented on the case.
