Thanks to the cooperation, a truckload of donations can be delivered to 8,400 children in 52 settlements before Christmas.
The Santa Factory, which received 45,000 kilograms of donations during the 21 days of the campaign, is closed, the organizers said.
It was said that 1,900 kindergarten and elementary school children visited the Santa Claus Factory on Bakáts tér in Budapest. The children came to the site of the charity action in an organized manner, through educational institutions.
About 800 high school students and several employees of 40 companies took part in the charity campaign as volunteers, they added. They noted: a larger donation came from Germany, but they also sent a package from Australia and Switzerland.
Thanks to the cooperation, a truckload of donations will be delivered to 8,400 children in 52 settlements before Christmas, and they will work with several charitable organizations to distribute the packages, the announcement states.
