Father Böjte's Christmas thoughts seven years ago are eternal.
"I like to imagine that the Virgin, having finished her daily work, leans out of the small window and tells Jesus to go and tell his father to come to dinner.
Jesus runs over and helps his dad put away the tools.
They sit down in the small house in Nazareth. How easy it could be!
It is believed that the Crusaders found the house of the Holy Family, whose remains were brought to Loretto, Italy.
It is believed that the house of the Holy Family in Nazareth was a small cave and a small room in front of it. We don't know exactly, but I think that there is some truth in it, because the wind does not start without blowing, and it is a church-documented fact, so it is likely that there are elements from the Nazareth house.
But this is not the point, but rather that we try to sit at the table next to the Holy Family in spirit. A roughly carved table that praises the handiwork of Saint Joseph. There are some clay plates on the table, the lentil stew is steaming in them, they hold each other's hands, they thank the Almighty for the everyday. They begin to spend the dinner modestly.
How simple! There is no mobile phone, no TV, no air conditioning. However, I believe that these people were infinitely happy there. It was good for them to be together.
I also like to imagine that they were sitting on the bench in front of the house, the stars shining above them. The baby Jesus hid with Mary, and Joseph begins a wonderful, beautiful psalm from the Old Testament, they sing. It must have been good for them there. Simple and nice.
I like to imagine that Jesus has grown up a bit and is working with his daddy, sawing. God holds one end of the saw, man the other. Maybe they make a cradle or a table, or maybe a coffin, I don't know.
It is so good to see God working together with man!
One family."
