The comedian-turned-turned-politician is despised by more and more people because of the cruel conscription taking place in the country, which the people openly compare to the methods of the NKVD and the Gestapo. The former interior minister also called on Zelenskyi to admit: the number of Ukrainian losses is half a million people.
In Ukraine, as in the territory of the former Soviet Union, many things are not to be believed. One of these is public opinion polling. It is bought from Ungvár to Vladivostok.
And the essence of democracies with weak foundations is manipulation, because you can really fish in confusion.
It is no different in Ukraine, where freedom of speech has been banned for almost two years (until then, only more subtly) due to the state of war. Analytical companies measure the highest popularity of the comedian-turned-people's leader, President Volodymyr Zelensky. The outbreak of the war came in handy for the president, known only as a clown in society, as his popularity was at the bottom in February 2022.
Later, however, even Vladimir Putin himself could envy the way Zelensky's index shot up the scale.
However, two years have passed, millions of people have fled, a quarter of the country is under Russian occupation, and hundreds of thousands are buried in the ground. The economy is on ventilators, corruption has reached unprecedented levels, prices are rising and blackouts have returned. The palette is not complete, but at least it outlines the merits of the president who legally prohibited himself from negotiating peace with the current Russian leadership.
The critical voices appeared
The former Ukrainian interior minister recently announced the number of victims of the war in Ukraine. Yury Lutsenko said on the television of former oligarch Petro Poroshenko called Priamiy that the time has come for honesty,
and Volodymyr Zelensky and Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny should admit that the number of fallen and seriously wounded Ukrainian soldiers has now reached half a million.
The former head of ministry also added that an average of thirty thousand Ukrainian soldiers lose their lives on the front every month. And because the current leadership in Kyiv does not admit this, fewer people will be motivated to defend the country:
You have to divide the five hundred thousand people by the number of months, so you get thirty thousand soldiers per month. In this way, we can roughly understand what is actually going on at the front. The number of victims and seriously wounded is also the same. You have to tell people the truth! The Ukrainians deserve the truth! They need to know how many people have fallen so far, and then it will no longer be a topic in society whether another mobilization is needed or not. Yes, it's shocking! But just such a shock helped half a million people to sign up for armed service on February 24, 2022. There is no other way out!
- said the former Minister of the Interior, once imprisoned for two years by President Viktor Yanukovych. His statement is also interesting because the real number of victims in Ukraine is classified as a war secret.
He is a political corpse from a popular leader
Recently, Zelenskyi has also received criticism from the benches of the smaller opposition factions. Most recently, a representative of the otherwise rowdy party called Holosz, or Hang, received serious criticism. It seems that there could be really big trouble in Ukraine if even the father-in-law of the party that feels so at home in the chaos formulates a serious criticism. Roman Kostenko, who by the way is the secretary of the National Security and Defense Committee of the Ukrainian Supreme Council and, incidentally, a colonel of the SZBU, stated that
Zelensky is a dead man in a political sense, and there is no point in hoping to be elected president for a second time.
The representative said this in connection with the fact that the president has not yet expressed an opinion on the new mobilization bill. By the way, the legislation is so disenfranchising that even the darkest dictatorships on earth would nod approvingly. It would deprive those who do not register for military service at the auxiliary command in practice of all their civil rights. Kostenko also added:
Zelensky must understand that he will never become president in his lifetime. And he must use his mandate to the maximum to protect the country. He is now a political corpse. All he has left are the surveys and the trust he still has towards the people.
According to Kartel, a popular Ukrainian political Telegram channel, the rejection of mobilization is huge in Ukrainian society. According to them, the only thing that plays into the hands of the government is that the people are divided and intimidated. Everyone in the country is kept in terror and that is a very bad sign. But the time will come when people will unite against lawlessness, and then Zelensky's house of cards will collapse in a minute. adds the Telegram channel.
