The Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade trusts in the power of prayer and that "there will be absolutely no problems" during his visit to Ungvár today, at least from a security policy perspective.
As is known, Péter Szijjártó received a life-threatening threat before Monday's Hungarian-Ukrainian foreign minister meeting. According to the message written in Ukrainian, the minister can expect an "explosive welcome" during his visit to Ukraine.
However, Szijjártó told those who were worried about him that there was no need to worry:
"Thank you to everyone for the kind, concerned, fearful messages regarding the threat received in connection with the negotiations with Ukrainian colleagues. However, there is no reason to worry, because Father Kelemen sent an SMS that all the monks of the Benedictine monastery in Győr are praying for me, so there will be no problem at all".
The foreign ministers of Ukraine and Hungary will meet on Monday in Ungvár. Szijjártó and Dmitro Kuleba will talk about the most important issues of relations between the two countries.
