From this year, those who regularly go to matches will have an advantage when purchasing tickets in the new Supporters' Club system, according to the decision of the Hungarian Football Association (MLSZ) presidency.
"Those who start collecting points in the system of the new Supporters' Club from this year by going to matches regularly will have an advantage in the future when purchasing tickets, as well as receive additional discounts. In the new club - after individual registration - all services will be found in one place"
- it says on the website of the MLSZ.
According to the MLSZ, interest in the national team led by national team captain Marco Rossi has increased significantly in the recent period, and the fan culture has changed noticeably since the 2016 European Championship. Significantly more people would buy tickets for one of the matches of the national team than are available. This process, as well as the fans' feedback, encouraged the presidency to renew the Supporters' Club.
"In the future, after a single new registration, users will be able to access everything related to the Hungarian national team in one place, and at the same time they will be able to use new services. The system will be able to reward fan engagement when entering the stadium: regular attendance at national team matches. One of the most important tools of the renewed SzK is the new mobile application, which registers loyalty points from the start, based on fan activity and commitment (e.g.: participation in games, polls, webshop purchases, etc.), and also makes new services available (free name transfer, prize draw, newsletter etc.). In addition, thanks to the circle of supporters of the association, club membership will provide mutual benefits for fans participating in the relevant loyalty programs"
- can be read about the new Supporters' Club.
The new system will be launched before the upcoming first ticket sales this year. The national team will start its preparations for the summer European Championship in Germany with two home matches in March, probably against Turkey and Kosovo.
The MLSZ presidency has accepted the 2024/25 competition notices, as well as the competition calendar of the men's adult football championships and cups, there are no essential differences in them compared to previous years.
