The idea comes from an old "acquaintance" of the Hungarians, former Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt. Balázs Orbán tells him that it's too bad for the steam, it won't work.
As we reported, Tucker Carlson, one of the most important opinion leaders of the American right, traveled to Moscow the other day and interviewed Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In this regard, Newsweek reported that because of Carlson's work in Russia, the former host of Fox News "could get into trouble in the EU." Guy Verhofstadt, former prime minister of Belgium and current member of the European Parliament, spoke to this paper, who called on the EU to investigate the possibility of introducing an entry ban against Carlson.
Calling Carlson a "mouthpiece" for former President Donald Trump and Putin, Verhofstadt also said:
"Since Putin is a war criminal and the EU sanctions all those who help him in this, it seems logical that the Foreign Service will also investigate his case."
"It must not be forgotten that Putin is not only the president of an aggressor country, but is also wanted by the International Criminal Court and accused of genocide and war crimes," European Parliament member Urmas Paet, who was previously the foreign minister of Estonia, told Newsweek.
Balázs Orbán, political adviser to the Hungarian Prime Minister, sent a hard message to Brussels regarding the banning of Tucker Carlson: Balázs Orbán said on X:
"Too bad for steam, we won't let that happen!" the politician stated.
