According to the liberal politician, it is pointless for the opposition to argue that Viktor Orbán is the head of a pedophile network.

Gábor Fodor was the current guest of Hír TV Napi. At the beginning of the conversation, Vilmos Velkovics asked the liberal politician whether, in his opinion, the fact that Ferenc Gyurcsány claims in parliament that "Viktor Orbán is the head of a pedophile network" fits into the concerns for child protection, or whether it is something completely different.

"It is not Ferenc Gyurcsány who is interesting in this story, because Ferenc Gyurcsány is the leader of the largest opposition party, it is natural that he stands up and speaks (...), the bigger problem is that the opposition is on the wrong track again," said Fodor.

The liberal politician would be happy if there was a strong opposition in the country, because it is not good that the current government parties always have two-thirds, because they are comfortable and have no control over them.

As he notes: he listened to the speakers of Sunday's demonstration and was shocked that, despite the fact that the demonstration was supposed to be about the direct presidential election, this was hardly mentioned.

"Each speaker pointed out in his speech that there is a pedophile network in Hungary, which is headed by Viktor Orbán. Now, no one will believe this, not even the opposition voters. It's a complete dead end. It's pointless to stand up to them, because people look at them and pack instead," Fodor explained.

"The opposition is obviously still in trouble," the liberal politician stated.
