It turned out: the billions of HUF dollars were spent on the campaigns of the opposition parties, which are now shrouded in silence.
Although Action for Democracy admitted in an internal correspondence the other day that the opposition parties in Hungary were supported with billions largely from György Soros, the left has not yet reacted to the cover-up, nor have they answered Mandiner's questions. And yet, among other things, they were wondering whether they would continue to deny that their campaign was financed by the rolling dollars.
The newspaper confronted the opposition parties with the fact that it was revealed that, contrary to their previous claims, they still spent the approximately HUF 3 billion that came to Hungary through Action for Democracy (A4D), mostly from György Soros, for their 2022 election campaign.
An answer came only from the LMP, but the reaction only stated that "the LMP - Green Party of Hungary acted legally in all cases".
DK, MSZP, Momentum, Jobbik, and Párbeszéd did not answer at all to the question: among other things, do they continue to deny that their campaign was financed from the money coming through A4D, and when do they plan to pay the A fine imposed by the State Audit Office.
The left would probably have a hard time explaining their previous statement that they did not receive any of the A4D money.
Action for Democracy admitted in a recent internal correspondence that the opposition was supported by donations.
In addition, the contents of the e-mail are not specifically classified as confidential information, since Dávid Filep, who tested the operation of the system with a donation of 5 dollars - the famous influencer known as the kopasz ost - was also included in the A4D newsletter. In light of this, it is difficult to imagine that the beneficiary left-wing parties did not know that they were spending a lot of dollars on their cronyism, as well as where this money came from.
Several leaders of A4D have previously admitted that the stock speculator György Soros was the main donor.
It is just icing on the cake that based on the newsletter, the organization led by Dávid Korányi knew exactly who had donated to them, broken down by person. This is how A4D's explanation about the many thousands of anonymous crowd of micro-donors also fell apart. By the way, the credibility of the latter was already questioned when the donation counter on the A4D website showed 11 when the rolling dollars scandal broke.
However, the money coming from overseas could only form one segment of the extremely diversified political lobbying and campaign machinery that A4D operated to shape the internal political processes of various sovereign countries.
In the videos shared in recent weeks on the MagaBabe profile on X, the prominent members of the organization reported on how they planned and implemented their influence actions with the American government circles and EU top bodies in various states of the world, including our country and Poland.
In the recently made public recording, Dávid Korányi spoke, among other things, about the fact that, together with the capital led by Gergely Karácsony, they also played tricks in Brussels at the expense of Hungarian interests.
Part of the mine work against our country was the discrediting of Viktor Orbán abroad, and for this purpose, for example, a White House correspondent wrote an article on Yahoo News, the most popular news site in the USA, to smear the Hungarian Prime Minister.
It is also memorable: the secret service report revealing the circumstances of foreign influence in the 2022 election found that more than four billion forints came to Hungary through Action for Democracy and a Swiss foundation with the same purpose, and the funds were used by the six-party left-wing electoral campaign on a joint list. helped his campaign.
The attempted intervention posed a serious national security risk to the country's sovereignty, therefore, in order to prevent similar cases, the Fidesz majority in the Parliament voted for the Sovereignty Protection Act at the end of last year, and the basic law was also amended accordingly. And from February 1, the newly established Office for the Protection of Sovereignty also became operational.
