The location of the presentation held in front of an invited audience was at the Vue movie theater in Leicester Square, famous for its premiere cinemas, near Piccadilly Circus.

The event was attended by Ferenc Kumin, Hungary's ambassador to London.

Director Balázs Lóth said at the presentation of the 135-minute work produced with the support of the National Film Institute: Sándor Petőfi is a symbol of freedom in Hungary, whom every Hungarian knows, yet no film has been made that specifically talks about his life.

The director called making the work a significant challenge. He said: the film was made for five years, and the start of filming was preceded by a huge amount of research work.

Philip Rákay, the screenwriter and creative producer of the film that deals with the history of the 1848-1849 War of Independence, said after the London screening: British film professionals were also officially invited to the screening, as there is a huge interest in Hungary, where there are great filming locations and studios, very good professional circumstances have developed in the last ten years, Hungarian actors are excellent, and Hungarian film experts are world-class.

He emphasized: all of this is also indicated by the fact that not only British, but also American and Indian filmmakers come to Hungary to film.

"We brought this film a little bit to show: what kind of original and built locations, what kind of professionals, what kind of actors there are in Hungary," said the screenwriter. He added: the work was also presented to the Hungarians in London with great pleasure.

Philip Rákay said: there would be a great demand for more historical Hungarian films, as Hungarian history is amazingly colorful, and one could list endlessly the historical family names whose bearers should also be made into films.

He also said that Now or Never! his creative team has been working on the history of Mohács for almost a year, since 2026 will be the 500th anniversary of the Mohács tragedy. "We have been working for almost a year on how to explain to today's young generation, to the people of today, what happened five hundred years ago, where this tragedy led us and what we learned from it," said Philip Rákay at the Sunday evening presentation in London.

The Now or Never! was screened in London just a few days after the presentation in Hungary.
